Macquarie Residence

Whilst not a lot of space was added to the house the improvement in functionality and street appeal is amazing. The original ex government house now has a contemporary façade, and an impressive new entry.

The main internal feature of the addition is an extended living room with an impressive half vault ceiling and high level windows. Full height windows that face north and capture north sun in winter and provide views to the rear garden.  Other features of the project includes and new kitchen and Blackbutt solid timber flooring.

The result is a pleasant living environment for the client, and an architect happy with the transformation.  We are pleased that design features that could have been cut to reduce cost now enrich the project and make the addition architecture.
